I have tried all kinds of stuff over the years and nothing lasts very long on our black plastic trim.....but I 'm hear to tell you the Rustoleum Like New is GOOD stuff. There aren't many states that get the amount of sunshine Florida and Arizona do (ie, UV rays). When had a real gully washer here and again that stuff stood up to days of hard heavy rain. It sure makes the black plastic trim, wiper arms, gas door and engine intake look really nice.

Try it

P.S. they also have stuff for headlights

I'm a fan of Rust-Oleum's products. I used their Rust Reformer to aid in cleaning up the rust on my 450 coupe and then I used their Cold Galvanizing Compound on top of the rust fix. The Galvanizing Compound has cracked a little, though I blame myself for that because I used like 10 layers of the stuff. The car isn't a winter car, so no idea how well it *actually* works, but I'm happy with the results.
