Didn't even notice one in mine. (I guess I am too short!) Is that factory? Didn't know they were just stick on, but don't see anything wrong with removing it if you could. I always thought the factory ones were some sort of dye they put into the glass....

The OP's tint strip must be aftermarket. There is no factory strip on the smart windshield. All of the windows do have a slight tint, but I am not sure of the %. I have aftermarket tint on my car and it does include the windshield strip down to the AS1 marking.

If it's peelable, peel it. If it is pro applied tint, a heat gun and sharp razor scraper will work if you are careful.
