I’m in the process of buying a set of Brabus wheels from Alloy Wheels Direct 15x5.5 - 17x7.5. I was told that I should run 175/55R 15 up front witch I have no problem finding but the rear 225/35R 17 are a different story. Can someone give any help with tire size? Thanks

The 'USA Only' Brabus 15" Front, 17" Rear Monoblock VI came with 215/35/17 in the rear.
The (EU) Brabus 16" Front, 17" Rear Monoblock VI came with 225/35/17 in the rear.

So I believe Alloy Wheels is listing the EU size for the 17" rear.
The 215/35/17 (22.9" Diameter) is available in the USA here:
And lo and behold the matching front 175/55/15 as well :)

Being that you're invested in a nice set of wheels, I would get 2 fronts and 4 rear tires now while they are still available (rears wear out twice as fast as the fronts).

Why not run 17" wheels on all four corners? I have been doing that for over 10 years. Sure makes rotating tires possible.
Sure if you only drive 500 miles a year...
Most owners drive their smarts ten times that and subject their front wheels to potholes and curbs :)

I'd rather have 15" rims up front and not be able to rotate tires - cheaper than replacing a bent rim...

I run the EU 16" Front (175/50/16) -- 17" Rear (225/35/17) on one of the 450s and I had those tires shipped in from Germany (Four tires were $1000 shipped).
I'll put a guess out there that the 15" Front -- 17" Rear was designated 'USA Only' because the 16" Front tire size was never available in North America...
