Can anyone comment, or direct me to a previous thread, about the ride experience of the sport package versus a vehicle without it??

I've caught a few stray comments that really make me worry that it will make the ride too harsh, and I recall one video reviewer who specifically said, "Run away, Will Robinson" from the sport package. :think::think::think:

But if you want a Proxy... not that I'm certain yet that's the trim for me... you have no choice.

No idea where that thread is, but in my experience I like the Sport Package more than the standard setup. I find the standard suspension too bouncy on concrete surfaces (the type you find on expressway bridges). While the Sport Package is a tad rougher, I believe it to be overall superior!

ive had several 453's and honestly the road noise on the sport package wheel/tires is terrible... i loved the steering wheel, the exhaust "tip", the look of the wheels but whatever tires they use on those 16's just hum and whirr at any excessive speed... VERY loudly. regardless of tire pressure used.

Road noise isn't good on any of the 453s. Same tires as my 451 but noise much more noticeable. Could be related to quieter engine but probably also lack of insulation.

You know, you aren't stuck with Conti's for the rest of your life. Replace them with another tire when they wear out and the road noise will go away. Conti's are known for bad noise. Stock tires are never a concern for me, I can replace them.

The Contis are way too expensive for their downfalls anyway. Wear them out, replace with something better, love your 453 Sport Package.

Or, swap them out early and sell them!
