for those of you that may not know this but instead of purchasing a set of torx sockets just use your 6 point sockets on the male torx bolts

Be careful doing this. If your 6 point socket is not exact size, you can round out/strip the torx bolt you're trying to turn. Otherwise, not a bad tip!

Nah, we will just use our adjustable metric wrench....

On low-torque fasteners, I have used a 12 point box end wrench on Torx. But having the right tools is not expensive.

Once I bought a set, I was surprised how many times I have used them. worth buying the right tools for the job!
