Hi, in the process of installing Roadmaster Base Plate on my 2013 Smart. Leaning towards the Roadmaster Invisibrake system for braking. Has anyone installed this system?

I'm presently not using a brake system, but I have had the NSA breakaway cable installed. The car is 1900lbs and a braking system is required in only a few states.Last month I traveled from Memphis to Branson over the Ozarks on old Rt 4, no problem. I'm using a Blue Ox system including the road guard. If and when I decide to get a breaking system it will be the NSA motion brake, cheaper and require no electrics.

Toymaker 17, do you have any photos of how you installed the NSA system? I am going to install the NSA system this spring but do not plan on installing a braking system. My 2014 Smart is being flat towed behind my MH.

I had it installed. There's a how to video on NSA's site and instructions come with the kit. It's a good idea to install a battery disconnect switch. The car tows like a dream. If I didn't have the camera on I won't even know it was there
