Pandora Radio Coming to Toyota Connected Cars

Toytota is gearing up to take Ford head on with their connected car system, Nuance. But instead of just offering satellite radio, they are now offering free Pandora radio.

My question is, is the service free, of do you have to pay a service fee. I'm not very familer with Ford/Microsoft's Sync.

I'd be interested to know how they plan to do that as Pandora streams via the Internet - I guess they could use the onboard phone but you'd definitely get a big bill for that. Otherwise, you'd need a Wi-Fi point nearby - not very effective in the middle of I-80 out west.

I know Sprint doesn't offer anything but unlimited data, I hear Verizon too. So that that isn't an issue. But I would hope Its self contained and had Its own transmitter. But it thats the case, I think it would be a charged service fee. Probably bundles with the search engine, internet functions.
