Back to Automatic.... How?

With the 2.0 Update, the driver can activate manual mode with the paddle shifters. How do you get back to automatic mode?

The only way I've found so far is to move the gear-selector left to manual mode, then back right again to automatic. That seems inconvenient. I think there's probably an easier way that I'm missing!

Just hold the right (+) paddle up for a couple of seconds and it goes back to auto. - sheureka

I've noticed one change-one that I must get used to fast. Now that one can switch to manual mode with a simple finger flick, a problem. If you don't remember that the shift lever is still in "D" mode, trying to upshift manually with the lever shifts the transmission into neutral. You have to be real careful or a very surprising increase in engine RPM's will get your attention real fast.

Best regards,

I got mine done today. The invoice says s/w 2.0 upgrade, battery replaced, owner's manual replaced and vin label replaced.

I just checked:

1. battery indeed replaced.
2. owner's manual smells new ( I recognized my previous one) but still dated 2008.
3. vin label not updated.
4. the paddle-to-manual shifting vice versa works.

I drive 100% in manual shifting previously. The 2.0 upgrade has a tad bit faster shifting from 1 to 2 and possibly 2 to 3. That's all I can tell for now. Drivability IMO is improved. I like it better when it takes off from stationary.
