Just installed UHaul hitch ordered directly from uhaul.com. Very high quality, powder coated unit. Reciever exits below rear valance without cutting or mods. Doubt it will work with any aftermarket, center exit exhaust. Mounts directly to rear subframe. Not easy, but not too difficult either. Mounts using two existing bolts and requires drilling one hole and modifying the other to accept carriage bolts & spacer. I recommend most folks have UHaul dealer install it. Instructions easy to follow, but directions concerning hole enlargement understate size of hole needed to slip bolt & spacer through.

Perfect for bike rack.

See photo in Exterior Modifications Gallery.

No lighting harness installed, since it will be used for a bike rack only. Usually these harnesses are pretty easy to install though.
I am interested in selling my pickup truck if UHAUL thinks I can add a trailer for those large trips to Costco and for Camping gear. If they do, I guess I am running over to UHAUL and ordering one of these. It looks low enough to clear a center exhaust, but I think that I am gonna sell my Doug Thorley center pipes anyways and maybe get a Stealth exhaust instead.

would not most hitts come from the front
Well, of course I meant when you're backing down the driveway or reversing out of the ditch you.... yeah, you're correct. Although, if something hits the filter from the front the car isn't going much farther once the same thing hits the trailer hitch. :)
If one were to hear something hitting the tow bar, it'll be an alarm to stop and check the filter immediately, before the engine drains out of oil, maybe and possibly avoiding major damages.

Center exhaust AND a hitch . . . OUCH!?!?!

You might physically be able to fit a center exhaust AND a hitch?

But, from what I can see, the HOT exhaust will be coming OUT directly AT the HITCH?
If you don't have heavy gloves, might be a trip to the ER?
OUCH!?!?!?!
