I have a 2015 Brabus. I have a vibration monitoring device I want to use while towing the smart. The device has to be plugged into the cigarette lighter. The only problem is the key is off while the smart is being towed so there's no power to the cigarette lighter. Can someone suggest a quick fix or a permanent fix?

You can wire in another power point directly to the battery or SAM. Just make sure the circuit is fused.

i put one in the glove box of my 2008 and connected it (fused, of course) directly to the battery. It's really only about a 20 minute job and has worked flawlessly to date. Here's a thread on various ways people have approached and done it:
