Chinese rip-off of the Smart. If this is the same model I've read about before, it's looks are similar but in crash tests, "it crumples like a piece of paper".

No doubt the paint is actually a thin sheet of lead, and if you get the car wet, it drips the date-rape drug off of it.

Typical Chinese quality from people that shamelessly copy anything.

Uh oh is right....sign me up. NOT!

I think I read that Diamler is in the process of sueing over this.
I don't expect speed-demon stats, but 40 MPH is nowhere good enough, nor is the message "Not recommended for winter driving". Ick.

ROFLMAO :D
. . . "Not recommended for winter driving"
A Dealer in MICHIGAN should know better.

I hate these Chinese ripoffs sooo much

You know one day we'll have to say "No, no, it's not the Chinese car, this is the real one"
lead paint? unlikely. verifiable.
date rape drug in paint? unlikely. verifiable.
all electric max speed 40 mph, good. covers many driving trips/situations.

questions.

equivalent mpg elec cost?
cost to -recharge- to full (tank)?
crash test results? its 'in' america. rating?
miles per charge, at 40 mph, 30 mph, 20 mph?

implication for smart hybrid potential mpg?

china, works, hard.
americas work ethic, fading. or worse?
too many american salespeople, too few real work workers.

no time for america, or europe, to suffer competition lightly.
