They treated me okay, the limited contact I had with them after warrenty ran out. We can only hope Tysinger in Hampton does as well in the customer service department.

Has anyone contacted checkered flag to see if they can still service our cars? I can't see going all the way to Hampton for an oil change.

You can't see going "all the way to Hampton" for an oil change? We have been going "all the way to Virginia Beach" for ours all along. Tysinger is actually in a good central spot for all of us. They do good service as well. We have dealt with them for years first with out Dodge Stratus and later with our Benz.

I bought my smart in Va Bch, but don't diss Tysingers. Their service dept is open til 5:30 M-F and open on Saturdays, something you can't say about C/F.

my favorite part about Tysinger, other than the fact that they're WAY closer than anywhere else for us (except for the vb smart center, when it was open), is that they vacuumed out and sprayed down (washed?) my car the last time it was in the shop. for free. without me asking them to do so.

i've never felt so VIP before :D

We are very happy with Tysinger because it is sooooo much closer to Williamsburg. Did not have a problem with Checkered Flag service but the Body Shop was horrendous - I would never take any car to their Body Shop.

Just had my first experience with Tysinger. I live in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake, and though it was some distance when compared to VB, the service was OVER-THE-TOP! Brett, Service Manager for the Gold team, kept me informed all along the way and helped tremendously to iron out some concerns I had. Based on this experience, I won't mind the trek to Hampton in the future!

:welcome:Yes, Tysinger's in Hampton is the only smart dealership now. Checkered Flag Va Bch was not open on Saturdays whereas Tysinger's is, a plus for the working class. If you do move here contact me and I'll put you in touch with other drivers, do you like picking straberries or checking out the local Christmas lights?
