Amazon has this one listed (and states in Q&A that it fits a 2018 but when I put that in mercedes benz catalog sites it says NO):
789-340-33-00

But when I look on mercedes parts catalogs it shows for my 2018 I should be using
453-835-10-00

Can anyone clarify which is the correct one? I can't find this listed anywhere on this site.

Based on other threads, I think the first number is for the 451 ED. The second number should be correct for your 453 ED.

They are one and the same - I just replaced mine yesterday. the m/b package shows the 451 and 453 are interchangeable.

For about a buck each time vs. $70+ for the part, you can just replace the beads. Some guys just reuse the old beads after baking them in the over for a short time.

"vs. $70+ for the part" Yeah, mine was $42, and had to wait 3 weeks to get it from Latvia, of all places! But, knowing me, I would of some how screwed up the process if I didn't have another one available, leaving me fubar'd. Now I can just swap as necessary.

Well now you have a spare. Take a look at how easy it is to pop the top off of it and replace the beads. So very, very easy and cheap. If I can do it, anyone can.
