i have seen on you tube the comparison of coatings like Rejex and others and the stuff is amazing with rain but i can't afford such expensive stuff. so, i was wondering in using a good grade of carnuba wax does it create a small static charge when polishing that will attract dirt?

ps since no one has responded to my right button (ie illumination and clock) not working i guess i will have to tear into it and was wondering how to get the instrument bezel off

Rejex is about $20 for a 16oz bottle. The same amount of carnauba wax seems to run from $10 to around $27 for Meguiar's G7016 Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax at Walmart.
