We demonstrate Fiber Arts and need to setup our "show" before to be sure we have everything. The 453 EQ leaves plenty of room in our 2 car garage after leaving some room for our Forester too. Sure it's fun to drive, easy on the eye, and great range (over 80 miles regularly) too.

I saw my first Smart car in Paris 2005. I leaned across the top to demonstrate the size and my husband snapped a picture. I was hooked. In 2009, I bought an 05’ G&K model new. I had it painted a beautiful Lamborghini purple, and called it my “midlife crisis” car.
I love the feel of driving a go cart wit no braking on the curves!

We all have different reasons why we wanted it. But what is the one thing you like the most about the car? The one thing that made you choose it over all the other possible choices you were looking at. Share with everyone here what it was since I know there will be a lot of different answers to this one.
It took a while but I have come to appreciate how unique this car is, the shape, the size, it is user and maintenance friendly years ago I can remember questions from a man in the park why would you want to own a car like that? I had asked myself the same thing the answers it needs an oil change twice a year that's it, parking space is not a problem, it is a good conversation piece because most people just don't get it, Smart Car owners do when you make eye contact on the road a big ole smile and a thumbs up is standard, I will probably buy another one when I get the chance

I loved my 2016 Smart from the very beginning...I wanted one and was lucky to get what I wanted...it had a few issues but the issues came from the dealership that sold it to me and them having no clue what they had.
Here in Ohio I have seen 4 others...two, I crossed paths with by accident and they just waved...the other I chatted with and the 4th one belongs to Chic Fil A and does deliveries. But what I really love is the looks, comments and tons of questions as to what the heck it is....I have had it for almost 2 years and I hope it outlives me, I am 70 and what a joy to drive in any weather.
Wish there was a get together closer to me.

Well then we will just have to have one near you. Choose a place and a date between now and October and we will meet you there. Smart Time with Cagney57 meet and greet.

Well, for me it is it’s weight. I needed the lightest car as I have a towing weight maximum behind my A class RV. I want to pull a custom trailer, 14’ aluminum that I’m going to modify to carry the Smart on the bottom and my SXS above it….. So I found this car suited my need…👍

Since I do no longer work I can meet anytime ....Ran into another smart 3 days ago and it was mine's twin....owner was not driving it as it was loaned to a friend...the guy has owned it for about 2 years....so every once in a while I see one,but rare.
Forgot also there is one that another business owns (I think a cleaning company) it has ads all over it...not sure of the year but way older then mine. Have to stop there one day.

They fit inside my cargo trailer, Toy Hauler and Freightliner Trucks leaving me room for a Harley or two. Consequently we ditched the street legal converted golf cart idea since they are restricted to a 35 mph speed zone or less. Driving them on a 40 will get you a fat ticket. I have proof! Taking along a Cabriolet gives you the most versatility. My carts have curtains but you still get wet in a downpour. The Smart is tiny but it's a REAL car not an ASPT hodge podge Frankenstein mobile.

I love the fact that "Minimus Prime" gets under the skin of my co-workers. They ALL have 4wd rides and can't fathom a Smart driving on glare ice and getting to work on time. Plus in the Summer whence on the Harley; I ask how that 4wd worx @ 90° and 14mpg? (mic drop)

One of my favorite, dangerous and annoying to some is drafting. I finally got the correct combination in the slipstream. My RPMs dropped 500 and my speed stayed 70mph. Granted the distance is closer than the 2sec rule. See this and other fuel pinching philosophies on future post.

I can actually park 6 smart cars in my new large 3 car garage. With the garages 12 ft. Ceiling. Some brand new automotive car Lift racks. Stack another 6 cars, on top that.

I really don’t need 12 smart cars. Right now I have a Accord, Kia Soul parked in
2 spots. The Abarth, and smart car bumper to bumper in the 3rd.
