Hi folks. I plan on changing my desiccant filter soon. I have the filter. I believe it is a torx tool but not sure. What do I need and what size.

Manual does call for a Torx (I want to say a #90 , but not positive about that), but everyone I have heard doing it, me included, just used a 14 mm Allen. Simple, simple job - DIY jobs don't get much easier than this one. Do a search and you will get lots of info about the job. Cost should be under $50. If you happen to have the BAP plan, then the desiccant cartridge is included in the annual maintenance for that program.

We are from Canada (presently in Palm Springs with the ED which we pull behind the motorhome) so there is no BAP program. We got the cartridge from our parts guy at mercedes before we left. Think it was 28 bucks plus tax Canadian currency.

Thanks for the info. I went and tried my 9/16 and it feels tight so I'll change it next week.
