Hello,

I'm considering at a Smart Cabrio about 50 miles away, and have yet to see it in person.

Could you all tell me what type of radio this is, and what does it do (Bluetooth.....???)

Also, what is the what looks like a drawer under the radio, just above the heated seat controls?

I have not been looking for a Smart since 2011.... Looking forward to getting into one soon.

No bluetooth and no CD player. Has auxiliary (3.5mm) and USB port in glove box. The drawer looking thing is actually a drawer. I bought a bluetooth dongle that plugs in to usb for power and aux for the audio, then mounted the control on the steering column.

Thanks. Makes it easy to just tap skip fwd and back as well as answer and make calls without hands straying too far from the wheel.

Not 100% sure, but think only the touchscreen navigation radio had bluetooth.

I put my Bluetooth controller in the glovebox so it can be charged by the USB port. So, the radio could be made Bluetooth!

Yup. Same here and ran the cables to the steering column under the drawer. Only thing you see is where the 2 cables join together and where the single cable comes up beside the cubby to the steering wheel.

Nice install. Here’s my location. I made a mount from metal pipe hanging strap and wrapped it in automotive fabric tape.
