I have a 451 and want to buy a long threaded bolt to help align the wheels when I rotate them. Does anyone know the correct thread size? It can't have a head on one end, must be threaded end to end. It will be just to help align the wheel, put the other two bolts in and remove the threaded one by hand. It can be a little long as that will help in gripping it to remove it.

I can, but do to old age and arteritis, my hands don't have the flexibility they once had. I take my wheels off every couple of months to clean and wax the inner barrels, and the guide will help hold them while I screw in the wheel bolts.
Just in case older Mercedes (early 90s W126 or W201) came with tool kits that had one of these hole alignment devices. I checked on McGard website and seems same thread as my mother’s ‘92 190E.
For those members who have decided to run rear wheels on all four corners, I'm curious if you've noticed any reduction in your turning radius? Your answers may save me some time experimenting. thanks!

A while back I was asking about this and some said a 15x6 with a 195/55-15 was all you could fit.
Well I wanted more, so to let you know I have 17x8 ET32 on all 4 corners with 35mm of spacers, H&R Lowering springs.
205/40-17 Rear
195/40-17 Front
And the only place it rubs is my flare when full lock turn on a bump.
That was one the things I liked about all my Saabs rim locator pins that you could set the wheel on while putting in the lug bolts. However, when you replaced the OEM rims you needed to take the pins out.
I had wheel bolts from a 1997 bmw 318
They worked fine on rear but fronts need the length trimmed, hope that helps
