Anyone know when heated steering wheel first became available? 2016?

Anyone know where the button is?

Anyone ever retrofitted a heated steering wheel onto a 453 that didn't have a heated steering wheel?

Sorry, I can't help you with seat heat button.
My first 08 451 smart cabrio had heated leather seats. Absolutely HATE leather seats in a convertible. My 09 smart cabrio has heated cloth seats. I never knew any auto manufacturer offered heated cloth seats. I always thought default for heated seats were all leather. Because I drive my smart 99% of the time top down, I love cloth seats.

It is on the seat base near either door... Open the door and look inside, you can't miss it.

First introduced and only available on 453 EV models.

If the car has the climate package, then the heated steering wheel comes on when the driver heated seat is on. One button on left side of driver side controls both.

Do you guys know if it's possible to retrofit heated steering wheel to a petrol smart? If so, which parts should be replaced - is it just a whole wheel or some other parts are also required to be replaced?
