I have a 2009 Smart ForTwo Passion that has started leaving a rather large cloud of white smoke after sitting at a red light. Then it subsides after less than a mile down the road. Car has 200K miles on it and is still running great despite the cloud of smoke upon accelerating after sitting a short time like at a stop light. Any clues?

Sounds like a head gasket water leak. Leaking into cylinders and burning off on driving. Check your radiator fluid to see if loss of fluid. Had this happen on a car and pulling plugs showed water coming out when cranking.
