I have a 2008 passion cabrio I purchased in 2017 with about 47k miles and he just turned 2 years old with me and standing at 58k miles. In the 2 years I’ve put 4 new tires a new air injection pump a new combination valve a new expansion valve and a battery. I hope we can roll together to 200k it would have been the best $5k I’ve ever spent that put so many smiles on my face

Cheewawa (passion, 2008) is still running strong, and now at 215,000 miles. Replaced dead, rusted-out starter a few weeks ago.

100K on BOB who is a 2008 Passion.
and just made the appointment for the 100k dealer service. And
Yes I will let everyone know what the verdict was.
Minor issues I know of are:
1) Do a alignment, make sure it's within specs.
2) Check on the A/C pressures and quantity of oil and freon.
3) Check Clutch for wear and tear. Adjust if needed.
4) Change ALL fluids. Yes, ALL.
5) Check of all wheel bearings for wear.

Probable bill of close to a grand but, with a 100K with NO issues, small price to pay.

kind of hard to go through 1200+ posts; it would be GREAT if someone would create a poll with various mileages so we can get a better idea of the longevity of the smart. AND, I don't have a clue how to do it, but i'm sure it can be done...

I now have over 132, 000

I saw the zombie thread someone resurrected yesterday about mileage, and the recent responses had only one person clocking in over 40,000 miles (wdhitch, moderator, with over 60,000). I figure that anyone driving 20,000 miles a year is pretty dedicated (since it's about 500 per week). As of early Feb 2010, there are only a few of us over 40,000. 30,000 is pretty impressive, too.

Maybe we could make a little calendar of when we hit 10k mileposts. I went over my old posts (and a few others), and came up with some starter data. I'm about to hit 70,000 this Friday, so ...

MILES DRIVEN
date.who.(bought when)

70,000
02/12/10. unicycle. (05/09/08)

60,000
11/07/09. unicycle. (05/09/08)
??/??/09. wdhitch

50,000
07/03/09. KingNine.
??/??/09. jthw8
08/13/09. unicycle. (bought 05/09/08)

40,000
??/??/09. jthw8
05/21/09. unicycle. (bought 05/09/08)
??/??/10. bum-bling-B. (bought 04/26/08)

30,000
01/28/09. jthw8
02/23/09. unicycle. (bought 05/09/08)
03/??/09. okie_boy.
03/??/09. 2micro4u.
06/??/09. earldahl.
??/??/09. a2jack.

2micro4u was way up there, too, with 47,000 as of 7/6/09, just a few thousand behind me.
jthw8 was ahead of me near the 50,000 mark but later commented that I'd passed him.

And of course you can approximate. Add your info, and then print the list again.

There are also some Canadians who have over 100,000 miles on their 450s, and we should include them (maybe in a different color, for clarity).
60,010
10/31/19, SMRTOAD, (bought 7/31/13)
