I'm expecting some nice promos this month from the McParts stores. Might want to grab some wipers to have on hand. What brands have you found to be good and reasonably priced?

Original Smart wipers are made by SWF/Valeo.

Here in the US I recommend Valeo.

These are perfect fit:

Valeo 22OE / 21 OE - these are OEM style, or Valeo TL222 / TL 221 (GEN2) - these are also direct fit. The other Valeo wipers are more like universal fit with bunch of adapters included - not recommended. Some electronic parts catalogs, including Valeo itself and even RockAuto show incorrect sizes for some of the wipers. Correct sizes are 21 and 22".

For the rear window Valeo 10D and Valeo R10A. I've bought both, and they are identical - there is no difference at all, just the packaging. The fit is not perfect, they are slightly longer on the inside (close to the top of the window). They supposed to be 10" long, but when I measured - they're like 11+.

I bought my last set of Valeo OE wipers on RockAuto. But, when you browse catalog by vehicle, it shows incorrect Valeo 230OE - Left and no Right at all (CARID is the same thing).
Go to search and type manually. This is how I found mine.

I bought Gen2 TL221/TL22 on RockAuto some time ago, but can't find them anywhere now.

Is this the correct Valeo 21" blade you are referring to? It says it fits our Smart, but the number is slightly different. I'd prefer not to use a universal blade with an adapter if at all possible.

The first one on the Rock Auto link is not the correct one. It shows ONE21 model (universal fit, with bunch of adapters).

The second one from Amazon is correct - 21OE - direct fit, no adapters needed. This is for the passenger side.

I run 22OE on the drivers side, it's fine. 23OE may be ok too.

Just got my wipers, a 21 and a 22OE as noted above in the Amazon link. The 21 is the perfect size for the passenger side. The 22 is a little over an inch shorter than the OE on there now. Next time I'll get a 21 and a 23. Haven't installed them yet, since I don't need them yet. Just wanted to have new ones in stock.
