I just purchased a 2014 ED. Upon inspection I looked under the passenger floor board to see where the battery was located. Upon removal of the styrofoam cover I found a wiring mess. Removed from the neg post is a connector with a relay on it just dangling. In it's place is a long battery cable attached to a cutoff switch just dangling. Could anyone explain this. I'm baffled!

Looks like the PDI center didn't remove the battery cutoff switch that is placed on the cars during transit from the factory. You can remove the switch and the cables and acquire a regular brown factory ground cable or make up your own. Attach the ground cable to a ground post near the battery negative terminal and connect the large end of the cable to the negative battery post.

The negative cable with sensor is still attached to a ground point. (See photo) So disconnect the cutoff and cables and reattach the cable with sensor?
