Hello All! I am looking at the possibility down the road (when I purchase a Smart) to install some electrical accessories. Not a 'thumpin' system or anything like that..
My question is: What is the capacity of the Alternator on the Smart? 85A? 90A?
And- Can it be upgraded or replaced with a 'heavy duty' type? On the old Volvos you could option a Heavy Duty Alternator on the turbos which brought output from 90A to 150A and it was GREAT for winter because you could run your headlights, fog lights, driving lights, and heat without having everything dim when you stopped or turned on your turn signals...
Thanks!
