Upstream O2 Sensor Wire Harness Damage

I suspect the primary contributing factor is the extremely confined engine compartment and the need for highly compact packaging of the ancillary components, wiring, and hoses.

That and a lack in engineering and quality control that has been pointed out...

With todays computer modeling all aspects of routing and movement can be traced...

There is an easy explanation as to why this is happening...
The blower motor that the rubber hose is attached is mounted to the frame (stationary)... the O2 wire harness on the other hand is fastened to our rocky, rocky engines... So if the hose and wiring harness are touching they are chaffing each other... Apparantly the wire harness gives up first..
This would constitute a mandatory check of all 451's in use, don't ya think??
