HID conversion kit. Cutoff really low.

I went to my local automotive customization shop to get my regular bulbs switched out for an HID conversion kit. They pretty much followed the popular tutorial on here for doing so, but my only problem is that at night, the cutoff is really low and I can't see further than 5 feet in front of me because they point straight down to the ground. For instance, I can't even read someone's license plate at night from less than a car length away if it isn't lit up by onboard bulbs.

Just looking at the installation all looks okay. The bulbs are very bright, and do project out ahead of the car on the peripheral to street signs and objects very far ahead (100+ feet). Just nothing more than 5 feet directly in front of me at the center of the car is illuminated. How do I change the cut off so they're not so low? Does anyone else encounter this problem with their HID conversion?

Adjust the beams upward using the plastic hex head screws on top of headlamp units.

When I installed my HID kit, I quickly learned that the cutoff was so high that I was able to blind dudes in lifted pickups from behind!

Why? Well not all bulbs are created equal. While they all look all look the same they sometimes light in different patterns.

If adjusting them doesn't work...then unfortunately you bought a pooly designed kit...
