Jack points

I have been doing some searching around the forum to try to find this answer. Sorry if it's a repeat.

I'm going to need to remove my wheels to take them to be worked on. I can't seem to figure out the best place to jack up the ED. I'll need to take all four wheels off for a day. I was reading about the risk of damaging the battery by jacking in the wrong place. Any good tips from this group?

You know, I found that thread and couldn't tell from the angles of what I was seeing was right. Now I can totally make sense of this. I just couldn't get my head around jacking up on what looks like plastic to me. Thank you.

You want to use the recessed flat part. In the past, we have seen members cut down hockey pucks to fit on top of a jack and fit in there.

When I put a jack under my Fortwo at the jack point that's just in front of the rear tires, jacking up the car causes the front tire to come off the ground also. Talk about a rigid chassis.DCO
