Hi Guys, I just bought a 2006 Pulse and then bought a used set of lightly used Winter tires, after I got the tires home I decided to check that they were the correct size.
It turns out that the tires are off of a 2008 Smart and mine is a 2006, the rear tires are the same size but the front tires on the 2008 are P155/60R15 whereas the 2006 Smart uses P145/65R15 tires on the front. Can anyone here tell me if the 2008 tires will fit on my 2006 Smart without causing problems?

Thanks

I tried it on my 450 Passion and the rear tires, mounted on the front, rubbed on tight turns, especially if the suspension was depressed during the turn, as in entering a driveway ramp, etc. So, I bought a pair of 145s and carry one as a mounted spare, while the other waits in a closet. When the original front tires are worn, I'll carry a 'baldie' as a spare and mount the two new ones. By the time they're worn out, I'll be dead and gone; not sure about the car.

I think you might be OK with the 150s, as my original rears were 175s and mounted on rear alloys, which have a different offset than the front rims. So, I"ll assume that you intend to mount the 150s on front rims; which should be OK.
Hope my first post didn't discourage you, but was intended to illustrate that there can be problems with non-standard arrangements.
