I am closing in on 10,000 miles and I am now seeing a "wrench" symbol when I first start up the car. I'm guessing that it is a signal that it is time for an oil change??? My owners manual says there is a button to push that is supposed to tell me what the message is but I can't make it come up. Anyway, am I correct that it probably means I am due to change the oil? Also, is there any other service that is due at 10,000 miles? I would like to do the oil change myself, using a Bosch filter. Will the "wrench" signal automatically reset, or is there a way for the car to record that the oil has been changed? Since the Portland Smart Center closed I feel that I may be on my own for most minor maintenance but I want to make sure I follow all servicing guidelines. Any help is much appreciated!!!
